Relentless

AM - 6 Twix/AC.  Just beat the big storm.  Rain was killing it just after we got finished.  (Peg 31 778.25)

afternoon - 8 Hills.  Went over to the hill by my old church and ran 2 sets of 2 hard downhills and 1 hard uphill.  This was super tough for me.  The up hills are tough and the downhills are tougher.  Then finished with a 10 minute tempo at 6:00 pace coming back to the school.  That part of the workout felt nice.  Achilles (right) is really starting to hurt again.  (Cumulus 213.75)

AM - 5 Twix/AC.  Not a lot this morning.  I am getting pretty tired in the mornings now.  Plus both achilles are hurting (especially the right), so I thought about just not running this morning.  But, the dog needs a run and so I got up and got a little in with her.   Ready for the holiday weekend.  (Peg Oly 182)

afternoon - 7.5. Devil's Loop. Up around the townhomes by my house. My legs are jacked. (Peg blue 351)

morning - 5.5 Twix/DI. Just a few miles with Twix up on the runway. Then a couple warm and cool with the team. They had a fantastic workout today... gets me excited for track. (Peg oly 187.5)

morning - 9 Dino Tracks. Waited until mid-morning to get out. Didn't have a lot of desire to run today, but finally got to it and enjoyed it. Twix and I ran Dino Tracks and then extended up the runway a bit. Later I mowed the lawn in shorts... try that on a normal Turkey Day!  (Sense Pro 133.25)

morning - 8 Parkway. Got out mid-morning again. Ran the extended Parkway from home. Put 4 miles of some controlled tempo in. No watch, but probably around my new Tubman pace - 6:20-6:30. Felt fine, only stress was on the dog who figured about 3.75 at that pace was enough. (Peg grey 176.5)

morning - 11 Mustang Pass. Nice morning run up into the desert with Twix. She was very happy to get to run for much of it without her leash. The trail wasn't in very good shape and I lost it a few times. (Sense pro 144.25)

Decent week. Achilles feels better here at the end of the week than earlier. 

Goals for next week: keep on trying to get in shape and keep the achilles improving.
