morning - 6.5 Highland. Twix's longest run yet. She did pretty well on the trails when they were well worn. There were a couple dogs out in the sort without leashes that caused a few problems. (Riders 237.25) afternoon - 8 City Wells. Nice and stormy run, but it never really rained. Hoped to see a tortoise in the desert, but nope. Negative split by about 5 minutes on the way back. Of course that is easy with the slow uphill pace I had on the way out. Surprisingly, I didn't feel the earthquake over by Caliente - I usually have a pretty keen sense of those types of things.
