AM - 18.25 Clyde's Loop - 5 Tempo.  The Circle is back in full effect!  Tempo workout this morning.  After a 3 mile warm up ran 5 miles of Tempo.  Started at TM and worked toward something just over MP.  Felt pretty good throughout; although I did lose a bit on the hills.  Each time we hit one I fell back a little and had to work to get back where I wanted.  The rest yesterday afternoon helped a bunch though as I felt way better than the last couple of days.  (I will also call this morning's workout enough and rest again this afternoon to try and stay on top of stuff - I may be done with pool running; I don't know, I kind of like it, but if I am spent that could be one thing to cut.  I will probably also cut plyos after Des News.)  Finished with a few for cool down and then ran 5 very easy with the girls team (those who will actually show up).  (Barefoot '10 80)(Boston 208.75)

So, your doing Des News? I want to do a circle run! Pool running seems boring. Why not just come swim with me at the lake. I will have you talked into the IM before you know what happened.

Pool running is pretty fun. I actually like it. Swimming is still a work in progress for me.

Circle of Trust runs are every Tuesday for a tempo (5:00 at Clyde's), Club runs (with a solid finish), and Saturday's runs. We figure everyone can start together and then get into their individual tempos and then finish up together. So I plan on you being there when you are in town!

If I were there, I would whip that girls team into shape! Again!

We've got the potential for a very good girls team (6 deep with a great top runner, and very good support all the way 2-6), but they just understand the importance of the summer mileage commitment. (some do - Sierra!)

You guys inspire me! I have been taking it too easy on the running the past several months...kind of getting discouraged. I have been taking the easy way by biking. After getting back on the blog and reading your guys posts I want to get back to running. Hopefully I can get the shin taken care of so I can start getting in some long runs.
