AM - 9 Santa Clara Parkway. Out early with the team to get some miles in before helping with the marathon. Fun run out on a side of town I hadn't run in for awhile. Then really enjoyed helping out at aid station 22. We were without a doubt the best aid station - and I didn't even need to see the others to know!  Really enjoyed seeing and cheering for all my friends out there doing awesome things!  Happy I was able to give back just a little to the life that has given me so much. (Peg Oly 81.25)

Decent week. Legs holding up. Mentally holding up with not racing this week.

Goals for next week: see if maybe I can push myself a little more.

Peg Olympic Miles: 9.00

Missed seeing you at the race. I should probably know but are you coming off an injury? I am sure your aid station was amazing but my memory is a little foggy :)

I have been fighting achilles probs for 1 1/2 years now. Last year I fought through it to get through the marathon, but it was very tough physically and mentally on me. Then I took off a few months in the spring. It hasn't really improved, but at least I am back running and just enjoying getting about 50 miles a week in with my team.
