AM - 10.75 Fields. Via Hell's Hole. I can't believe how sore my legs are from the mountain run. My quads are just toast. Today's run was very slow, but it was nice out in the Fields and along the river as I came back. So that was nice. (Kinvara silver 377.5)

afternoon - 6 ND. Another slow run up in. The North Desert. My legs may snap out of this eventually. (Boston 1096.25)

Mountain running is different. I've been thinking about doing Mt. Olympus this weekend but I know it will ruin my training for the next three or four days.

It's great to see that your mileage is coming back up! What are your future race plans?

A couple 1/2's this summer, but not sure which yet. We'll have to see how the old body responds to all this!

You should come up and run the Skyline Mountain Marathon on August 16. It is a beautiful and extremely challenging trail marathon. They have a 14 mile race if your wanting to stick closer to the 1/2 marathons.

Hahhahaha... Trail running on mountains...

I think we have our 1st XC meet that weekend.
