AM - 6 on dogpound from home. Not up quite as early, but still early. Run was SLOW. Today's two runs are both easy 6ers and I took maybe a little too much advantage of that this morning. Although I wasn't sore from weights, I was a little tight. Also, I think a bit drained from yesterday's longer run on the treadmill. Pace ave. out to be 8:10. This afternoon will be a bit better - but still easy. (Glycerin 300.75)

afternoon - 6.15 Foremaster from PVHS.  Another easy run, but I was able to pick it up a little bit better than this morning.  Ave. ended up being 7:42 even with the wind holding me back a lot on the quicker sections.  Felt good about the effort of an easy run, unlike this morning, however. I got the Strassburg Sock last night. It will take a while to get use to. How are the Glycerins holding up at 300 miles? Are you running the half saturday?

No half Sat. Track season = no race season. I'm not an enormous fan of the Glycerin, so I am just using them for most of my runs right now to stack up the mileage and get rid of them. But they seem to be feeling just about the same as always. I shouldn't stray from Asics; they are the best.

dave, are you still suffering from plantar's? i hope i'm not being bothersome- i just wanted to let you (& bill) know that i've learned an awesome massage technique that cures plantars. i'll quit bugging you about it, but if you're ever interested club runners get their first massage for $50 from me. i know it's really expensive, but i'm telling you this stuff works.

Thanks for the info April. My PF is actually feeling pretty good. If I am ever able to save up enough money, however, I would like to get one.
