Well it's time to start running again.  I went 5 days beyond what I was going to take off going 15 instead of 10.  I just haven't been motivated to start up again.  I've actually contemplated taking off until the motivation comes back, but I'm starting to get stir crazy and I don't want to do something crazy like start Insanity or P 90 X or something like that.  So I'm just going to run at an easy pace until my motivation comes back, plus I'm not going to do anymore racing for 2012.  The next goal will be a few shorter faster races in the Spring of 2013 with no marathon plans until the Fall.  I enjoyed TCM so much I'd like to run it again next year.  Early plans would be Bank of America 8k, Crazy Legs 8K, Fort Atkinson 1/2 Marathon and the Twin Cities Marathon for key races.  I might do the Madison or Brewers Mini again, but not both.  I felt like I spent too much time recovering from those 1/2's to put in solid marathon training for TCM.

Okay, time to get out the door!

3.08 miles Avg 8:52 pace - didn't remotely push it, ran as easy as I comfortably could run.  Any slower and it would have been painful, any faster and it would have felt like work.

4.5 miles Ran from house to house for a mile dropping off notices for our school Rake A Thon. Finished the rest of the run with at an easy pace. Avg 9:00 min pace.  Also did some jump squats and ab work.  I've been told the jump squats are great for runners knee.  Hopefully, with some easy running and axuillary exercises I can finally put it behind me.
