Short-Term Running Goals:

If things go as planned...  I will be running Boston in 2015 and I want to break 3 hours.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to run till I die and qualify for the Boston Marathon, both events may occur simultaneously...  They didn't :)  I hit my BQ time in St. George 2012!

Personal:

In 1 1/2 year I went from 225 lbs. to now around 165-160 lbs.  In 2010, my first year running, I ran two half marathons, two 5ks and one 10k.  My wife and I started with the Salt Lake City Half Marathon and ran it together.  It was a great way to spend time together and kick off our new found pass time.  I'm now addicted to running and I plan on running for the rest of my life.

Three miles on the TMill @ 7min/mile and then 45 min weights...  Maybe yoga tonight.  I need it.

Outside today...  Seven miles at 7:31 pace and it was damn cold!!!  We need the sun!

I went bird hunting and walked up and down canyons for six hours...  I'll consider this cross training.

Ran 7 miles at Snake River Landing.  Today was a speed day so I ran a short tempo run of 2 miles at 6:35 pace and 1/2 mile of strides.  It felt good to be outside and to push myself hard.  I'm way faster than I was last year.

I went bird hunting today and hiked 9 miles over 4 hours and climbed 3500 vertical feet.  My poor dog!  My legs are sore and it's a great way to build strength in my legs but now I need to start logging miles on the road...  From here out I'm in for some long runs.

0.5 mile warm up, 3 MP miles, and 0.5 mile cool down.  Then 45 min of weights... I'm not sure if upper body lifting helps my running but it sure feels good to get those mussels burning.
