Slowly turning into the tin man.  This was one of those running in molasses days...but beautiful up on the Pipeline trail...leaves are just starting to change.  Very slow pace.

Delicious run today.  As Oreo might say...it was cherry.  Went up to White Pine lake in Little Cottonwood Canyon.  I read that this is one of Meltzer's favorite trails and wanted to check it out.  Beautiful stunning scenery.  The trailhead sign says it is 4 miles to the lake but my garmin had it at nearly 5. Was able to run more of the up than I was expecting and all of the down. 

 Maybe details later...suffice it to say that this is a wonderful trail with stunning views and even gets up above the major tree line with some pockets of snow still.
