Delicious run today. As Oreo might say...it was cherry. Went up to White Pine lake in Little Cottonwood Canyon. I read that this is one of Meltzer's favorite trails and wanted to check it out. Beautiful stunning scenery. The trailhead sign says it is 4 miles to the lake but my garmin had it at nearly 5. Was able to run more of the up than I was expecting and all of the down. Maybe details later...suffice it to say that this is a wonderful trail with stunning views and even gets up above the major tree line with some pockets of snow still. White Pine Lake
