Threw down the big wupping stick to try and survive this first marathon attempt. Ran with Hairdog and Brother Fritz on a beautiful morning in Huntsville on generally the first part of the Ogden marathon course. Felt the usual aches and pains but was happy overall keeping at a slower pace and enjoying the conversation with the Dog. Worried about Fritz though, he might have been having a slight coronary. He is a pack mule though and tough as snot. Nick gave us great support and encouragement. Nice burger after at the Double Diamond and want to take Gina home. avg 9:19 |
