Big day for the old man out on Antelope island.  Went with Brother Oreo, Shane the Mountain Goat and T-Bone.  Ran the 16 mile loop with add on out to Elephant Head or Turtle Rock or whatever it was.  Beautiful moonscape scene out there.  Overall felt good until last 3-4 miles.  Felt about 300 pounds about then.  Saw Jun and Kelli cruising by on the trail...they appear to be studly runners just like you would guess.

Started cursing profusely about mile 15 or so.  Potty mouth gives me extra running motivation.  The great thing is that I know my body isn't really built for these long miles but I feel cool doing it anyway. Oreo is back...kicking my trash all over the place.  Fun day.

Gannicus you are my brother! Nice job out there! What are you talking about - you rocked it up those switch backs on the west side!.. When I grow up I wanna be like you. Good times!

What the heck, I missed all sorts of people. I need to pay better attention....wait, I was almost dead.

Well, I guess nice to meet you. Jun is a stud out there that is for darn sure. I was just lucky enough to TRY to keep up with him (not so successful, but the effort is what counts, right?) The switchbacks sucked, so I started cursing long before you gave in to it. Wasn't that like mile 10?

Nice job, hope to run into you again.

Nice miles out there. I love to curse a lot too on long runs and frequently it is directed at jun for making it look too easy.

Nice miles! Gald it wasn't me trying to keep up with the cookie machine. Too bad we missed each other out there.
