| did a hot run on Bonneville then ice bathed and helped run the mtn. Ridge v Timberline track meet. Once that was over we did our crab walk race. Going in I thought anything under 1:10 would win it but boy was I wrong. We had four boys under the old school record of 1:13, and Craik won in 48 seconds! I got fourth in 1:09. I made a late push for podium but Russell was able to hold me off after a blazing first 50. Good day overall.

| tough workout today. Everybody just felt sluggish and tired, and it showed in our times haha. The workout was 1200, 1200, 800, 800, 400, 400. Times were 3:32, 3:40, 2:24, 2:29 (hahaha) 68, 67. Haven't felt that wrecked for a workout in a long time.

| so I got to the school at 3:00 today and found that they had already left me, so I headed out on my own. I had a feeling they were doing Alpine run so I started booking it in that direction and when I was on the golf course about a mile away I could see Zack's bright shirt up on the mountainside. I knew I had a ways to go but I told myself I would go hard til the junction and see if I could catch em. I ended up catching them about 20 seconds before the junction at about the five mile point. First five miles were definitely sub 6:00 pace. After that chilled the rest of the route, and had a good time running with Tyler, Connor, and Jared. After we took an ice bath in hidden oaks and went and played 7 on the line.

| Had Spanish bowl today at BYU, then crashed as soon as I got home and slept through practice. Later went for a loop on golf course, the canyon road and ended at the school for strides. Mile tomorrow, optimistic. |
