Warmup: 3 miles

Kp race:  The race started with the anthem sumg by a blind nineyear old girl. She had an amazing voice. I saw guys with tears in their eyes including me.  It was a commeroative race for the 9/11 events overall.

It is needless to say it was hot and humid at the end of the day plus congested.  The race started above an highway (I-20); i used the race as treshold run somewhat still painfull. There was no timing; just the clock at the finish.
