Starting to wean myself off spin class so today I did .5 elliptical, 4 on TM (2 at 6:30 / 2 at 5:30)e, 45 min spin, and then 6.5 on TM at about 6:20 pace. Ice, ice, ice!
Elliptical Miles: 0.50
Treadmill Miles: 10.50

Specificity of training = the principle of training that states that sports training should be relevant and appropriate to the sport for which the individual is training in order to produce a training effect.
I think spin is very beneficial for building a bigger aerobic capacity and for building quad strength primarily. But it has to be done in addition to running, not instead of running. So I guess if I want to get in lots of miles of running on Tuesdays AND do the spin class I will just have to suck it up.
