Just my work's lunchtime 5k.  Our work shirts and such have a "DNR" logo, which sometimes worries me, but it doesn't stand for "do not resuscitate," rather Department of Natural Resources.  Regardless DNR is a nice name for a race.

The fast guy got a new job so wasn't there to break the tape.  It was hot- ~85°.  I paced with my lunchtime running buddy for the first 2.5ish miles then he fell off pace so I picked up the effort.  I did not push hard enough to feel really bad, but hard enough to be glad to finish.  Eventually a newer and younger employee is going to show up and kick the butts of us old and slow guys but til then I'll bask in my glory (yeah right) ;)

6+ ez miles after the race.

JRP.  Tire legs and everything else so I cut it short.

Steeplechase course from my house (not through Memory Grove). I felt much better than anticipated after yesterday's short, slow, slog. There were only a couple of small patches of snow left on the decent, no big deal to cross. The only down side was how long it took me to run it. I was/am slow!

Downtown/Memory Grove loop. I felt better than anticipated after yesterdays long and steep run.
