I love this race.  The course is tons of fun, is beautiful, and starts and ends less than a mile from my house.  I keep trying to talk people into running it and am mostly unsuccessful, but this year Teena and her husband gave it a go.  They both did great.  Hopefully she will post a report.

I'm not sure what to post about my race.  I ran smart.  I pushed myself and gave it a strong consistent effort without completely devastating myself. I finished faster than last year (last year I did the Slam and was on tired legs) but was 20 minutes slower than my course PR in 2009.  I guess maybe middle-age is slowing me down, that and not training as much or as fast.  I'm enjoying running, so I'll take the slowing times with a smile.

A great course. You must live a block away from me. We'll have to get out for an easy one some time.

Way to go, fly. Even though I signed up and bailed, I still want to run It, so I'm thinking next year.

Great race Fly! Miles 6, 7, and 8 must be killers.
