10.3 at lunch on JRP.  ~.7 after work on the dreadmill trying on new shoes.

Head and neck on the mend, legs felt really good.

Nice inventory of head, neck and legs!

What about the new shoes? Are they trail shoes? Special overpronation-correction babies? Keepers?

From fly on the Wall on Tue, Mar 15, 2011 at 23:37:14 from 67.182.229.19

I have yet to find trail shoes that work for me. I wear custom orthotics for my severe pronation and I don't much like motion control shoes- too heavy and stiff. The new shoes are just updated versions of what I had (Nike Lunarglide 2 vs Lunarglide) so they should be keepers. I am amazed by the wonderous, amazing, and down right ugly colors they come in. The pair I just bought locally are black with very red bottoms. Past pairs have been neon green with blue, navy blue with bright red, bright light blue with bright yellow. And, I just ordered a couple of deeply discounted pairs in gray with neon yellow and "Club Purple/Volt-Ink-Flint Platinum!" Good thing I'm color blind! (I guess I might prefer even the ugly colors to the old-school boring white shoes.)

I think the Purple/Platinum is a great combo. My Mizuno Elixir is Charcoal/Purple...it's wearing on me! :)

Your Mizunos are almost muted compared to these- http://store.nike.com/us/en_us/?&wfp=true#l=shop,pdp,ctr-inline/cid-100701/pid-338473/pgid-402004

Either you're super fast or you get a much longer lunch break than I do... or both.

From fly on the Wall on Wed, Mar 16, 2011 at 15:59:57 from 204.113.19.47

I get a longer lunch break. This is good and bad, as I'm at work 11+ hours.

From Rhett on Wed, Mar 16, 2011 at 16:47:27 from 74.36.33.52

That is a long work day. I usually get a 5 min. lunch break and no other breaks besides no shows, but I'm only at 7:30 hours.

Sounds dreamy! But maybe that's just the grass being greener on the other side of the web..... Nah! I'd trade you in a heart beat!

Those shoes have WILD, CRAZY FAST colors!!! :) You should wear tops to match those shoes, hahaha!!! :)

No lie, Boston has some wild neon green theme this year!

HAPPY St. Patrick's Day!
