ran 8 with a 2.5 mile tempo in between. everyone else did only 2 miles tempo but im just cool that way. Felt like a very easy and nice run. the tempo section took me 100 meters to get rolling, but after that if felt very easy and managible. Glad we are starting to get speed workouts in so i can be ready for the half marathon.

am:3 felt alright....

pm:9; this run was a stinky one for me. all day my ankle hurt (i think from that cartwheel stunt i did yesterday) and on the run i kind of bothered me. Hope my stomache settles down sometime

am: 3, nice morning run with just Casey cause no one else showed up!

pm: easy 6 with 1 mile stridders, with core lifting. had bad stomach aches because i haven't been eating enough these past couple days, so now i need to bring three meals to school..(wow)

when i came home i went into the old ice bath... coldest one i've had in a while; but well worth it and glad its done for the next 2 weeks.

am: 3, nice run; my legs felt amazing after yesterdays ice bath.

pm: 7, trail run on the D mountain or whatever it's called. I really like these trail runs: had some good conversations and the hills felt very good to go up. I'm good on everything except my driving skills... and my LA skills... why am i not very smart with those things?

Longest run of the year so far. woke up just before 5 to drive to the finish line of the dog town half marathon and car pooled up to the start. We ran at what felt like 7 min pace for most of the beginning and it felt fine. But it was pitch black on the trail which made it hard to not stumble over little dips. Went by pretty fast and at the end we threw in 2 tempo miles at about 5:30-5:45 pace.

Got home with enough time to get ready for the ACT. glad thats done for a while.
