Didn't run because of yesterday's pains, but I did get in a sauna, which was a new experience but not relaxing. I felt like I was in a vegetable steamer

A.M. - 5 mile tempo run focusing on long strides. 

P.M. - 4.5 miles. At the beginning I started thinking about state XC and who I'd need to beat to win as a team and I went out too fast. I'm thinking 5:20. After that my right calf started to cramp up so I cut the run short(i was thinking 7-8 miles). My leg still really hurts, I'm going to ice soon. Core later that night.

Major Achilles pains after my second run yesterday, so I decided to just bike instead. 13.1 miles in 52 minutes at the highest resistance(level 20), so barely under 4:00 pace. Lifted for a bit afterwards. Achilles feels better but too much is on the line to risk anything. Core that night.

6 miles in the morning. I really hate running without a watch, it makes me mad not knowing the distance or pace. The run took 40 minutes, so Id call it 6 miles. I'm going to try to measure out 7 tomorrow and run it, then 8 on Saturday, and so on until Camp USA comes around.

The area I can run in is really limited(I'm in Georgia now), so getting in some distance was difficult. Our cabin is on the top of this super steep hill that goes down about 600m down and 600m up. I did 11 repeats, and it hurt pretty bad. Shoutout to the African American family in the cabin next to us that had like seven children that all would race me as I came up and down the road because it made me speed up and made 8 miles of hill repeats somewhat survivable.

Hill repeats on the same course as yesterday. I was tired from attending a family reunion that morning so that's all I could run before my body told me to stop. Good thing I did, as soon as i finished the run my Achilles started to ache.
