I woke up at 2:45 MST (AM)😑 The Atlanta airport was way backed up so we barely made our flight, so no breakfast. I ate one complimentary wafer given by the nice fly attendant. I didn't end up eating anything else until 12, so 200 calories over the span of 9+ hours. Also yesterday we had a large Easter dinner at around 2 PM, so I didn't eat anything really after that, save a few tortilla chips. So yeah. 8 hours in the car after that due to traffic in Colorado. Legs felt crappy. We stopped about three hours from Utah bc my dad had to take an important 30 minute business call. I stretched for a while and jogged around for maybe a minute and the ol' ponies felt better. When I finally got home I went to the rec, talked to Steven for a while, did a warmup, then a 600 @2 mile pace and a 300 @ 800 pace. Tomorrows paces, not UVU's. 400m jog in between. 600 in 1:56, 300 in 47. Both felt easy! Form was good, breathing was deep and steady, and felt a little quick the first 20 seconds of each, but then I eased in and it went well. Hopefully this good feeling stays for tomorrow. Cooldown and strides for 3. I wish I could have gotten more in, but I expected this. That's why I did speed on Sunday. Cooldown and strides for 3, maybe a bit more. Good day. S/O to me and Connor baller for getting our hearts broke at Virginias defeat yesterday. But he's getting his mission call to Florida so it's good.
