| | Ran this morning and it was pretty cold. My hands have been getting unusually cold lately so I need to figure that out. I listened to music for the first time in forever and It made running a ton easier. It was a really good pace for me also at 6:38 average.

| | Finally got some new shoes. Saucony mirage 4's. They are OK but they pinch my little toe a bit. I tried them for the first time today and they are really springy. I love how they feel. I ran 4 with conner and the rest alone indoor today. The weather outside was horrible. It was reasonably quick for having to do 118 laps haha....

| | 3.5 miles of tempo withtin 5.7 It was really cold and I was spitting blood partway through the tempo (I think/hope it was related to the cold weather...). The tempo went alright especially mile 1 and 3, but mile 2 was awful. mostly uphill on mile 2. splits were 5:37, 6:03, and 5:28 with a 2:50 ish final 800. Went for 4 miles of nordic skiing after.
after skiing, I did 2.3 more miles on the treadmill to make 8 total. pretty brisk but not too bad.

| | Its 2015! Finished off 2014 by staying up till 3 AM so not so good sleep... but oh well. I went nordic/xc skiing before my run with brad. It was 8 miles long and wore me out pretty good. Then 8 more miles of running on snowy trails after. Pretty slow (7:49) but it was fun and a good change of normal roads. 16 miles on foot total today!

| | Slept in and when it warmed up I headed outside. The hands really froze today so I bought some running mittens to help. I'll try them tomorrow. Pretty hard day but it will help me with speed alot. I did the Beast hill 8 times 1:02, 1:02, 1:01, 1:01, 1:05, 1:03, 1:00, :58 and Beauty hill 8 times as well :32, :33, :32, :33, :33, :36, :33, :34. The beast went really well, especially the last 2, but beauty did not. I was really slow on that hill today. A few easy miles mixed in.

| | Long and easy with stockton this morning. 9 miles around smithfield just over 7 minute pace. My legs are fairly tired, but not too bad. USU indoor meet is just 1 week from today! 8 miles of nordic skiing up green canyon later today. 53 miles of just running this week, 73 miles including all of the skiing this week.
