Today was a big stepping stone in my running. Not that it was super fast and miles away from my ultimate goals but that I was able to complete a good meaningful workout. We had a great group and the goal was 6 miles at 6:15 or faster pace. I ran 6:12 6:10 6:07 6:14 5:59 6:23. I felt good threw about 5 miles then we turned in to the wind for mile 6. I'm not going to lie, doubt that I would finish was in my head. I just backed off for about .5 a mile and pushed the second .5. Hopefully I'll have more to come.
