Awesome long run this morning with Jenny, Devra, and Allie. We ran the Big Cottonwood Trail up to Wasatch and came back the same way. We traded "butt" stories to pass the time. This is a pretty challenging course full of rolling hills. I was excited to feel way better than the last time I ran on this course. We ran 7:34 average out and 7:09 total average. We got booking, which was mostly my fault. I wanted to be done.

Jen's husband made a guest appearance in his undies. I think Devra was embarrassed.

So, I'm trying to plan out the next couple of weeks. I plan on starting a cut back in preparation for TOU half. But, I don't want to cut too much too early. I'm debating on whether to run the Dart Challenge 5k as a tune up. I'm a lot closer to sub eighteen shape than I was five weeks ago. Hmm . . . what to do?

I'm happy to hit seventy this week. I'm still building up slowly. I'm glad I have plenty of time.

There is so much time b/w now and CIM, it wouldn't hurt you to back off a bit and knock out a couple fast races. Dart is a great course for a quick 5K.
