I ran a two mile warm-up, and then ran 4x200 as a continuation of the warm-up. My workout was 4 x 800 with a lap jog recovery. My goal was to run them under three minutes. They ended up being: 2:55, 2:53, 2:57, and 2:54. I would have liked to run them a little more consistently. The third one I got out too slow and had to negative split. The other three I ran 86 on the first lap, but had a difficult time holding the pace. I guess I didn't drop too far off. I wanted to run more cool down, but I had to get the kids from the babysitter, so I just ran a half mile cool down. |
