It was snowy and wet this morning, so I went out to the Olympic Oval to do a track workout.
I ran a 2 mile warm-up, followed by 10 x 200 with 200 meters recovery. (Actually, over 200 meters since the track is long.) I ran the intervals between 41 and 42 seconds, with the last one being 40.26. Then, I cooled down 2 miles.
I know these aren't that fast, but it's the first day that I have felt like the speed is starting to come back. It's nice to do some training under six minute mile pace. |
