Ironman training begins in earnest today! I'm also going to try to do 90 days of P90X. So I started out the morning with Chest and Back, followed by ab-ripperX. Then I went to the pool. UGH!!! I arrived at the pool without my favorite googles, swim cap, or ear plugs. Then they had switched the lanes to meters instead of yards. I got really dizzy everytime I stopped swimming, so it was a short swim. But I had some coaching, so it was good. I'll have some new things to practice this week. I quit at 40 lengths, which means I'll have to squeeze in an extra workout sometime this week. I swam 1000 meters...how many yards is that?!? :D |
