I met up with a friend I never run with to do the tail end of the marathon route. We both said we'd take it "easy," but we ended up running 6.5 miles in 54:05...pretty much better than my 10K pace on a good day. I felt fantastic, though, and I'm glad I was able to get a tempo run in. Later this morning, I went to an hour of Zumba.
This evening, I've noticed a bit of pain in my arches...which makes me a little nervous that I may be developing some plantar fasciitis, so I made sure to roll out my soleus muscles really well and massaged the arches, too. Hoping it's a fluke.... :S |
