I was supposed to do P90X Plyometrics this morning, but I couldn't find the DVD. My landlord and I share the P90X dvds and since it was 5:30 in the morning, I'm sure she wouldn't appreciate me waking her up to ask her. So I did P90X "Chest & Shoulders" and "Ab Ripper X" workouts instead. I really feel like the ab ripper exercises are helping to strengthen my hip muscles as well, so hopefully doing that 3 times per week will help my IT band issues. I later found out that the Plyometics DVD was in my landlords broken DVD player that we can't figure out how to open. I have a kind of love-hate relationship with Plyo so I'm kind of happy/sad I don't have access to it right now. I feel a lot better doing some sort of exercise, even though I'm not running but I MISS RUNNING SO BADLY! I promise I push myself as hard as I possible while lifting weights but I really miss dripping in sweat while running. My friend has a buddy pass to Lifetime she wants to give me, so maybe I can get a spin class or two in to help maintain my sanity. I may even go over to the gym in Herriman to see if they'll give me a trial pass or something. |
