Personal:

I am married and have two wonderful kids, 14 and 10.  I've been running since 1982.  I never get "basic" injuries.  I always get the real nasty career threatening kind, like stress fracture of the sacrum, ganglion cyst clamping  down on my peroneal nerve.

Ran a pretty good 2 miles in 13:36.  Had 7:25 half way, stopped, stretched, then came back with a 6:11.  Conditions outside are ideal, 51, post rain, hardly a breeze at all.  This is probably what's it's going to be like 12 hours from now, just hope we don't have a downpour during the race.  Feel tons better than yesterday although left IT still has kinks the first few minutes and stomach bothering me a little.

Good luck tomorrow! What kind of time are you going for? Conditions should be good as long as we don't get a big rain.

Thanks Jim! Good luck to you. I'm looking at 1:18:40. That should put me in the top 100, which is another goal of mine. I've only cracked the top 100 twice.

Awesome! Good luck! I am trying for the top 500 so hopefully I will be about 10 minutes back around 1:28.
