Legs pretty sore today, I think it was a combination of the hike last night and the tempo run yesterday.  I ran up the La Verkin Twist to Sheep Bridge Road then over to the Falls Park.  It was a good 6.5 mile run, with the first two miles up the twist.  After the first two miles were over I did a little better and averaged right around 7:40's. Once I got up to the falls I met up with Sunny and the boys and swam around for about an hour.  I figure we have about 14 weeks until St. George, so I going to attempt to give up my pop habit for the next 14 weeks.  I think it is something that makes losing weight more difficult for me.  I'm also going to try to limit eating red meat to once a week, which will mean cutting out the burgers and fries.

You can totally do it!!!! After awhile you won't even crave it, just stick it out for 14 weeks! You can make flavored water with strawberry ice cubes or something. Do you guys eat a lot of chicken or what do you have planned for meals without red meat? We usually don't have much red meat anyway but I'm just looking for something that David will like that is also healthy!

Good goals on the food/soda. I think it will make a big difference.

No Burgers, No Fries, No Pop! Thats the same wagon I am on. You would lose pretty fast doing that. Although, I am not convinced that you don't get your speed and endurance from all that fast food, may actually hurt you, LOL!
