Basketball this morning.

Good workout this afternoon, not much time since I had to be back to school for Parent/Teacher conferences at 5:00.  Anyway the schedule called for 5x1000m repeats @CV pace with 2:00 min recovery.  I haven't done any 1000 meter repeats yet this year, so I was a little nervous about how this workout would go.

I did a 2 mile warm-up then got started

1-3:29 (5:36 pace)

2-3:24 (5:28 pace)

3-3:29 (5:36 pace)

4-3:30 (5:37 pace)

I didn't have the time and energy to do one more, so I figured I better stop at 4 and be happy with what I did.

Did 1.5 mile cool-down home, now back to PT conferences, yes I did take a shower.

Weight 153, I'm still struggling to lose the weight. Jazz play tonight. I have Dish Network, so I haven't had any problems with Jazz games it is DirectTV that is not showing KJAZZ. I have parent teacher conferences until 8:00 so I'll only be able to catch the second half.

Hey man, haven't heard from you in awhile. It looks like your staying after it. I guess if I'm not the only one playing basketball, then maybe I shouldn't stop.

I was in St. George last Friday pulling out of Rebel Sports and I saw this driver's ED car pulling in. I said to my wife to make sure she gave that car plenty of run if she didn't want to get in an accident. Anyway the person driving was you! I waved, but you looked pretty focused, probably dreaming about the shoes you were going to try on or something. Anyway, keep it up.

You St. George boys keep me pushing. Everytime I feel like I'm the only one in the world running, ( I am out here) I just read one of your blogs and it makes me work harder.
