Ran with the club for the first time in a long time at least on a Thursday. We did the Bloomington loop and I felt ok the first 5 miles, but then died the last 3.5. I struggled with stomach issues and the heat. Overall average was 7:30 pace which is actually pretty good for me on a training run. Anyway, lots of work to do over the next few months. Surprised when I got home and weight was at 149, just need to drop that to 139 and then we would see some good performances. Still 149 is progress from the 162 at Christmas. |
