I really had no plans of going over for Tempo Tuesday this morning, I had trouble going to bed, kepting waking up, and still didn't feel 100% with the stomach.  The alarm went off at 4 am and I just turned it off and went back to sleep, but it was strange at 4:05 am I was wide awake, so I just got out of bed and made it over to Clyde's

Did a 3 mile warm-up with the guys, then we did a new Tempo route that I hadn't done before.

1-6:29- Running with James

2-6:36- Still running pretty close to James

3-6:30- Starting to not feel so great

4-6:47- Hip starts hurting, as well as my ankle and my arch on my left foot.

5-6:54- Still struggling wanted to stop here, but talked myself into at least one more mile

6-6:50- Still hurting but tried to give a better effort.

40:11- 6:42 average

This workout wasn't very good, but at least I got some miles in and I tried.  The one thing with running is you do so many runs, that even when you have a bad day you don't have to dwell too long on it, because you are right back out there the next day or even the same day if you are doing doubles.

4 mile death march back to Clyde's.  I not only struggled on the tempo portion, but on the cool-down as well.

A bad run is still a great way to start the day. Glad you made it over so early. Workouts like that will go a long way with the training. If they were all easy and great more people would be doing it.

Good job man!

Like you said - it's a run with some good stuff in it, and there is always another one.
