Easy 2 miles this morning up 300 West to the fire hydrant and back. Right hip is hurting some.

Cumulus-45

This afternoon I did 1 easy mile over to pick up my truck. I got the engine replaced, so it should run good for a few more years. After a nap this afternoon, I ran 5 miles on the treadmill, blah, blah at least the major league baseball all-star game was on to pass the time. After five miles I decided to go outside, it had cooled down some. I was only going to do an easy 2 miles up to the fire hydrant again, but decided instead to push the pace and run up to the substation and back in Hurricane. The two miles over I tried to push the pace, averaged 7:22 mostly uphill, coming back I average 6:13 and felt pretty good. My hip is still pretty sore, so I need to keep that in check, not to get too injured.

How are you feeling? Glad to see you out. Only 2 miles means your either sick or just plane lazy? Just kidding on that last part.

Ouch! Bill sure knows how to sugar coat it. I have been having trouble with my hip every now and again as well. If you have any good treatment advice, I could use it. I will let you know if I do anything that helps mine.

Thanks. Yes, I remember talking to you at the race. I like using the blog, and reading what other runners are doing. Good luck at St. George, and good luck with one more year of teaching. I think Cokeville can be a runner's paradise, if I bundle up enough. Thanks, Joe.
