Basketball this morning.  I'm planning on starting a 10 week cycle today leading up to the Painter's Half Marathon.  I've been taking it pretty easy since the marathon, well pretty much all year.  I'm still dealing with PF pain in the right foot.  The left foot doesn't seem as bad as it was.

Not liking this time change stuff, by the time I get home it is dark.  Anyway, tonight I opted for the treadmill.  I did 1 mile warm-up, then 4 x 800m @ 6:00 pace (that is all the faster my treadmill will go)  It was an ok workout did 1 mile cool-down.

How quickly are you going to build up your mileage? I'm probably going to take it pretty gradual. Started with 10 miles two weeks ago, 15 miles last week, and plan to do 20 miles this week. If I keep that up, I'll probably reach 50 miles a week by the end of the year.

I am also going to do a build up. My build up will be with food not mileage though. I am looking forward to the good eating through the holiday season. Right now I am just running a little bit and no plans for any racing for a few months or more. Good luck with your training.

Nice jobs on the TM speedwork. I won't be seeing you at Painter's this year. Are you doing any marathons in 2011?

From Dustin on Tue, Nov 16, 2010 at 22:31:57 from 209.33.192.10

Steve- I don't plan to get the mileage too high too quickly

Ryan- I didn't do much racing this past year, so hoping to do more in 2011

Melody- Hope all is going good with your baby. Not sure if I will be doing any marathons in 2011. I really want to focus on trying to improve my half marathon time.
