Didn't get out the door early enough to do as much as planned, so ran a bit more after work as well. AM did 2.5 warmup and then 2X200 meter hills and half mile cooldown. PM went to trails and did 1.5 warmup and then 2 miles worth of minute on (5:25-5:30 mile pace) minute off (10-11 min/mi pace), with about a quarter mile cool down. No rain and much heat here for past 10 days or so, so the trails were sandy and not easy to run fast on - much cooler than doing this workout on neighborhood pavement though. |
