Track workout this evening just before the sun set. Three miles warmup then little pyramid of 200, 300, 400, 300, 200 followed by a couple barefoot striders and two laps of infield cool down. Going up the pyramid I wanted to hit them all at 5:20 mile pace with about 90 seconds rest and went 38, 57, 78, so all were a couple seconds fast. Then I increased the rest and worked the final 300 (53) and 200 (32). The last 200 felt decent, so, with two weeks before summer track meets, I'm getting there. |
