After a good day of getting the house, and the yard, and the bills, and the maclayrunners.com website back in order after a couple days out of town, I popped up to the track for a little workout. Ran 2.25 warmup on the ravine trail before a pyramid of 200 (32), 300 (50), 500 (96), 300 (49), 200 (29). All but the 500 were right on goal - was hoping to go 90 seconds on the 500, but just didn't have it. I may have short-changed myself on rest before that effort as there were several people at the track and I was trying to work it so I wouldn't have traffic - ah well. Two barefoot laps cool down and then it was back to the house for breakfast dinner - always great. |
