Good track workout this evening before dinner. Ran 2.25 miles warmup at 8:00, 7:20 and 6:46 pace, then 10-15 minutes of active stretching, flexibility before track work. Did 2X300 (51, 50), 1X450 clocking the last 400 (69), and 2X300 (51, 49) - 2 minutes between 300s and 3 minutes before and after the 450. Half mile barefoot cool down on the infield. Got my email newsletter from masters news today and that helped me nail down my next goals - racing the 200, 400 and 800 (depending on the schedule) at the SE Regional Masters Meet in Raleigh on June 10-11. Now to organize my training plan and get busy. |
