Track 2 years at FSU (400 and 400 hurdles) 

Skip ahead 15 yrs for my old man PRs...

Short-Term Running Goals:

Break through the 19 then 18 minute mark for 5K

Return to full speed track workouts

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

USATF Age Group All American times in 200 (24.6), 400 (56.0) and 800 (2:11)

Qualify and run Boston before I hit 50... but after I complete my sprint goals

Evening run on the trails in daylight - such a deal.  Pretty much the only good thing about springing ahead this time of year.

Warmup and cooldown bracketing 12x300 - unfortunately there was a lacross match at the school so i couldnt use the track.  Trails and Garmin not exactly the best way to do a track workout - ah well.

Nice five on the trails before the big 5-oh birthday meal with the wife - what a deal.

Three miles on trails to warm up for 12x short hill sprints - right at 15 seconds each with walk back down the hill.  Half mile cooldown back to the truck.  First 8 hills were strong... maybe a bit too strong as I had to back off a bit for last four.
