Break through the 19 then 18 minute mark for 5K

Return to full speed track workouts

USATF Age Group All American times in 200 (24.6), 400 (56.0) and 800 (2:11)

Qualify and run Boston before I hit 50... but after I complete my sprint goals

Ravine/North Loop/New Trail counterclockwise - comfortable 8 minutes/mile, no foot pain... ok, several twinges along the way, but nothing consistent.  Thinking about maybe 8X200 on the track tomorrow, nice and easy at 42 sec or so with jog across infield recovery.  Thats about 5:30 mile pace, which will be my goal in a couple weeks for Breakfast on the Track to kick off XC season.  Doc advised to tape the foot if I hit the track - will do that, although 8X200 at 42 isn't the intensity that we talked about.

Sorry to hear about the foot acting up a little bit. Good not to ignore it though.

Change of plans for next week. Business trip is delayed until Sept. 2 -and it is a lunchtime meeting now -- so let me know if you have time perhaps for a cup of coffee or something then, if you are not traveling early for the holiday weekend.
