I was feeling like I needed a faster than normal run today. My marathon goal pace is 8:35. Today I ran my 10 miles at 8:42. I figure I ran my pace since I chose to run a very hilly course with one monster hill (10:00). I felt good all the way to the finish. I could have ran it faster, but I knew I was going hiking later with the kids up Angles Landing in Zion's National Park. I went hiking with the kids and I carried the 2 yr old in the carrier backpack. AND... MY LEGS DON'T HURT!! Great day!!! Mainly because I ran a good time, ate at Wendys for lunch, hiked a beautiful trail with my family, and ate at the Oriental Buffet for dinner. : ) I will have ice cream before bed!!! |
