0 miles - less sore.
I was walking to my car after work and decided to try and jog a couple of yards to the car.... I'm definitely feeling better, but still not ready to run.
It amazed me in the finishing chute of the marathon that some runners were walking around like they hadn't even run 26.2 miles. I hope that is attainable and not just genetic for some and not for others. I'm hoping that putting in some serious mileage (for me maybe 50-60 mile weeks) that I can pull off that fresh as a daisy look post marathon as well.
Claudio mentioned walking down stairs backwards..... that would have saved an awful lot of pain these past two days :) |
