I knew a mile in that I wasn't going the full 8 miles. Almost 90' with a high dewpoint. I went into the gym and took a shower and back to work. I was surprised by the pace because it felt like 8:30's or so. 7:19 avg.

D, 7:19 in 90 deg. is fast.

I only had the k-mart special watch on, so I had no idea of pace until I mapped it out after. I felt like I was going to die on any incline & was breathing like a wounded water buffalo. Oh well, live and never learn.

There is some serious heat going on out there. Hasn't hit me yet though.
Really good pace in that heat.

I would say 7:19 is far...far from 8:30! I felt like I was dying on my 4 mile run and it was only 75 degrees.

Usually my 8:30 pace runs feel like 7:19 pace. I gotta figure out how to reverse it like that.

It was backwards day.
