Ran 3.5 miles this morning at 8:42 pace. Everythings feeling pretty good. Could very slightly feel the hamstring but now that I have no pressure to push things to get ready for the marathon I think it will quickly heal the rest of the way.

Hey, glad to hear you are recovering well. Hope that hammy starts improving now. What's up next for you?

Painters 1/2 in Jan. is the next big one I'm shooting for and maybe a local 5k in nov. How about you?

From JeffC on Sat, Oct 11, 2008 at 14:17:32

Are you doing the runner's series for a guaranteed entry in to SGM next year? I will be at Painter's but I plan to do the Valley of Fire Half in November and the Las Vegas Marathon in December.

From Dave S on Sat, Oct 11, 2008 at 14:41:11

I wanted to do the runners series but went to sign up mon. and they already had reached the 500 limit.

Boy it looks like you've got 2 more big ones lined up the next 2 months. If you can keep those injuries at you should do great.
