am- nice easy 4 miles over to starbucks

pm- Well today was the "Redeem Yourself" meet for me, as I did bad at the hurricane invite. So I did the 1600 today and that was good, not amazing, but good. We start out and this Dhills kido gets in front (I think his name is Josh gibb?) and then I was like 'this is too slow' so I went out in front and it was mitch, Alex, and me the rest of the way. I lead the first and then I told Mitch to take the second. He went in front and then seemingly hit the breaks hard core! I literally shoved him so I wouldn't run him over, and he spead up a lil', but I was feeling like we were going to slow. The third lap Alex went out in front and then I jumped next to him for the last 100m of that one. Then I was like "I gotta go if I want to get a PR today!" so I took off in an 'almost' sprint. I hit the last curve and was definitely feelin' it and gave a finish, but could have been stronger. The timer person said 4:52/4:53 when I came by(but i just found out by my good friend Controversial Cam that the guy was wrong! wow), and Alex was like right on me just like at the Las Vegas Invite! Solid race, and it definitely boosted my confidence. I for sure need to improve on how I raced, but it was a good start of a track season I am looking forward to!

WORD OF THE DAY: aight well todays word is "epaulettes"? I read it in my LA book and it sounded like they rolled up Paul in an electric cigarette!

I hate to break this to you but the guy yelling out times was off by 3 seconds. Official time for you was 4:55.
