am- So we warmed up and were just chillin' waiting for the girls to get done. Now race time stuff. So the start is crappy cause the freakin' Canyon View dudes in my alley were all over the place cutting me off. That was really annoying. Then I finally got around them when they didn't know where to go after the alleyways merged. I got right in front with Josh and Spencer. Spencer was leading and Josh was right next to him. Then Josh seemed like he was wanting to use Spencer so he would have to work as hard in the first little bit but Spencer wasn't speeding up. So Josh took off and that was the rest of him. Came across the 1st mile at 4:56. Then I have no idea why but I fell off a couple meters behind the group, right after Andrew took the lead from me. At the 5th lap Coach told me I had to go up in the group I was leading if I wanted to qualify. So I kicked it in and got closer but they were speeding up. Each lap I was constantly trying to get up in the group but it didn't happen til Sage and Bryson fell off and Spencer and McKaid took off from the group. I made a move and passed 4 dudes in the last lap and a half I think. I finished and looked up at the clock and it said 10:07. Dang it! Qualifying is 9:59 so I didn't get that but I did PR by 11 seconds! Heck to the YES!!! Great race. I just need to pour it on during the 6th and 7th cause the 7th lap I ran a 1:18.....yeah. And the 6th lap is right before it so I might as well get going, yeah? haha good day tho.

WORD OF THE DAY: in honor of learning so many words, I have got Merriam-Webster's word of the day, which is "Verdant". Wow I literally have no idea what that even is. It sounds like Virgin so it's probably something super righteous.
