| LM warmup, 8.26 miles in 1:03:39, 7:42/mi, HR 157, w/ 10 100-250m Fartleks & stretching. Felt pretty decent despite fasting for some tests tomorrow. Pit stop at mile 3 but then threw in some fast short fartleks. Those tired the legs out for a decent short workout. | |

| LM warmup, 8.09 miles in 1:03:14, 7:49/mi, HR 157 & stretching. Sunny and warm (63F). A bit labored but not too bad. Evidently the prep for yesterday's procedure managed to reset my GI system since I made it through the run without so much as a burble. |

| LM warmup, 14 miles in 1:45:26, 7:32/mi, HR 163 & stretching. Ran up to Forest Road 8 and back in a mix of sun, clouds and drizzle. Pushed the effort heading uphill, especially the last two miles. Threw in a couple of early short fartleks up the steeper sections to prime the engine. Focused on good form, decent stride length, and push-off, so I was working. Pit stop at the turnaround, then kept things honest headed back downhill. Legs really started wearing out by mile 9-10 but I managed to keep the effort and pace up through the end. Probably a good call to run 14 instead of 12 today, but doubt I could've handled much further without falling off pace. All in all, felt like a good tiring solid workout. | |
