Just when things start looking good.......

Hurts to put weight on my foot today.  Managed to talk myself down from what probably would've been an ill-advised and short-lived run.  So here I sit pretty cranky, upset that I'm missing a run on our second unheard of 60 degree sunny day here in WA, hoping that whatever this is heals quickly.

Sorry to hear about the foot. Sure seems like it's harder than it should be for us 40+ guys to get into any good kind running rhthym for more than a few months. I hope it's just a 2 or 3 day issue for you. Do you think this is plantar fascia related? Having gone through my nasty PF rupture last year I hope it's not anything similar.

Thanks. Yup, it gets easier and easier to hurt ourselves. I don't think its PF....had a fairly mild case last year and managed to run through it. This seems to be more to the outside bottom of the foot. But I've read that many of these types of injuries are typically because of tight calves, so I'm back to doing everything I can to stretch mine out.
